Triticale and Durum

We have had a few requests for spring triticale and depending on customer demand, we may bring in  some good quality Brevis spring triticale. (Brevis is a short stature new variety with good yields)

• We are doing a take home during winter program on Brevis as bin space gets tight for us near spring
• Supplies are limited
• Contact me by Friday Jan 25 so I can organize bringing it in and shipping it back out to you in mid February
• Price will be $14 per bu for orders under 800 bu and $13 per bu for orders over 800 bu
• Germ 96%, Vigor 90%, TKW 42 g/1000, Fus Gram: not detected
• For 35 plants per square foot you would need 2.75 bu per ac (with 10% mortality built in)
• For 28 plants you would need 2.2 bu per ac (with 10% mortality built in)

Durum
CDC Alloy has a special price reduction on until Jan 25, 2019 for prepayments invoiced by that date. It is a great durum variety and because the market is lower, seed prices are the lowest they have been in a number of years. So if you are growing durum this season and looking at trying a new variety of durum this is they year to do it.

We can treat seed all winter with our indoor treating system and can apply micronutrients and/or QuickRoots if ordered ahead of time.
