AAC Awesome VB Soft GP Wheat
​AAC Awesome is a new high yielding soft white GP wheat available now

• Yield 12% above Sadash soft wheat in registration trials
• Parentage partly from Sadash
• Good to Fair stand ability, tall height = 3-6" taller than Sadash VB or Paramount VB Soft Wheat
  • ​We use a PGR to help with all soft wheat stand ability
• ​Great dry land option or height managing irrigation farmers (PGR's)
• Will be a replacement variety for Chiffon due to higher yield and similar stand ability
• Resistant to leaf rust, stem rust & stripe rust
• Intermediate resistance to black point, leaf and stem rust
• Milling statistics make this a GP Soft wheat suitable for feed, ethanol and silage or forage
• I rating to FHB (better than some soft wheats)
• Intermediate resistance to bunt and smut (still should use a seed treatment for these)
• Maturity = to Sadash
• Varietal blend so a midge agreement is needed when buying​
