AAC Yellow 80 Mustard
AAC Yellow 80 mustard seed provides increased yield, easier harvesting and cleaner sample.
AAC Yellow 80 is the latest yellow mustard variety from Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada’s mustard breeding and development program to be registered in Canada.

  • AAC Yellow 80 shows a 9% increase in yield over Andante.
    • Yield gains over traditional open pollenated yellow mustard varieties
    • Composite yellow variety requiring certified seed use only.
  • AAC Yellow 80 shows a harvested grain sample, significantly brighter in seed color.
    • Field scale demo strips in 2020 said that it was easier to harvest and noted a nicer sample than Andante.

  • 2 days longer vs. Andante
  • Taller vs. Andante by about 5-12 cm
  • 8-12 lbs per ac recommended seeding rate

AAC Yellow 80 is a mustard variety developed by Dr. Bifang Cheng and her team with support of the multi-party collaboration that is funded in part by the Canadian Agricultural Partnership program.
