AAC Schrader Durum Wheat
AAC Schrader durum is a great new durum variety that will reduce the risk of Fusarium in Western Canada 
  • Superior FHB resistance vs other durum varieties (similar to AAC Viewfield) 
    • AAC Schrader is the first durum with an I rating for FHB
  • Good rating for lodging (similar to Brigade) but is taller vs Succeed VB or Stronghold durum (similar to AAC Cabri)
  • In registration data AAC Schrader expressed resistance to leaf rust, stem rust and stripe rust while expressing resistance to intermediate resistance to common bunt, and resistance to moderately susceptible to loose smut
  • Low cadmium levels
  • ​Yield similar or above check varieties
  • Maturity similar to check varieties
  • Medium to smaller seed size for durum
  • AAC Congress & AC Transcend are parent lines
