We have hay blends, all grass blends, lawn grass, and individual items like Timothy, Clovers, Alfalfa, Grasses and more. Millet seems to do well on dry years.
Some people are doing a Fall Grazer after silage, or an early crop for late grazing. We have some blends suitable for rejuvenating pastures, some for baling or silage, high protein blends and brassica specific blends. Pollinator specific blends have been interesting for some with annual or perennial options. Relay crop, Saline, and cover crop blends allow smothering, and or nutrient tie up as well as options of tougher soils. We have taken some spots on our fields and seeded back to forages as the crop was never good in those spots as we were spending more $ on acres that didn’t have positive returns to us due to poor or no crop in those spots. Email [email protected] for a cover crop / forages price sheet if you want to order something or chat with us on it.
