2022 Stamp Seeds Spring Fall Crop Yield Trial Data

We sampled our demo plot field with our spring cereals including soft wheats, barley, oats on it. We have taken silage samples for yield and also TDN and more at the medium dough timing for each of these spring crops.
Below this chart we have the fall crops silage data from this same field.

Blair Balog our Seed Specialist has compiled the spring crop forage information in a chart for you to make comparisons from variety to variety and crop type. This in not replicated or scientific data, just side by side on small scale as we cut a 3'x10' spot and sent a sample to Down to Earth Labs to get these results.

The CDC Arborg Oat data was not in the plots, but was near by from our main field as our filler crop, so may not be as comparable. CDC Renegade Barley was at a lower use rate and farther away from the plots so also may not be directly comparable. We missed taking the AC Sadash VB sample.
The plots were seeded April 28th, 2022 on irrigation and the wheats were seeded at 40 plants per square foot and the oats and barley at 30 plants (other than the CDC Renegade at about 20)
