Higher yielding than all of the checks. Initial trials showed yield 17% more than Carberry, 11% more than Unity and 6% more than AAC Viewfield, the highest yielding check (3 year mean)
Stand ability is very good equal to Glenn with equal height to Carberry
Midge tolerant and is a varietal blend with the new AAC Hockley as the refuge variety.

AAC Hodge started as BW1069 and is derived from a cross of BW430/BW897. The female parent BW430 was derived from a cross between Alsen (ND 674//ND 2710/ND 688), released by the North Dakota Agricultural Experiment Station in 2000 and BW313, which was derived from a cross between RL4763*2/Howell. The male parent BW897 was an advanced line derived from a cross with Prodigy crossed twice with Alsen (Prodigy/2*Alsen)
