We can do custom blends of cover crops or The TG premixed blends for soil rehabilitation, silage or grazing cover crops. These blends can be used as a saline area cover crop or a smother blend cover crop. At the bottom of this page we have a flyer showing cover crop blends and options from Imperial Seed

TG MIXTURES
TG EXTEND
Maximize the growth opportunity with full season production. The addition of pea and oats to TG Extend will deliver summer hay/silage with regrowth potential for fall grazing.
• 25% Melquatro Italian Ryegrass
• 20% Japanese Millet
• 20% Ebena Brand Common Vetch
• 10% Golden German Millet
• 5% Pearl Millet
• 5% Viva/Malwira Hybrid Forage Brassica

TG SOIL ENHANCER
Radish absorbs soil nitrogen and other key nutrients with a unique taproot. Clovers convert atmospheric nitrogen into plant available nitrogen.

• 15% H.O. Brand Crimson Clover
• 15% Winner Brand Berseem Clover
Seeding Date: July 25th - September 1st.
If seeded earlier may need mowing or clipping
Suggested Seeding Rate: 6-10 lbs/acre
Use: green manure (annual blend)
TG SALINE
Combination of saline tolerant species to help cover the ground and re-establish microbial activity. Best left to rot on the surface over winter.

• 28% Sunflower
• 16% Brigadier Brand Feed Beet (in Alberta we replace this with a turnip or radish)
• 15% Forage Collards
• 5% Safflower

A mix of annual and short lived perennials that attracts bees & feeds beneficial insect populations. It improves the soil while being a beneficial pollinator sanctuary.

A great grazing crop for all species of livestock that will provide multiple grazings and contain several overwintering species for spring grazing in year two. It will help bring in old pastures back to life while increasing grazing production, this blend is meant for grazing and is not recommended before cash crops.

Row 1: Wheat seeded with Crimson, White Dutch, & Subterranean clover blended in by us. He swathed it and let it regrow after.
Row 2: It then re grew after harvest, went to seed, and provided ground cover last fall and this spring to suppress weeds and fix N! This year he is thinking to grow winter wheat this fall and harrow on these clovers next spring for same impact but slightly better germination.
