Forage Blends
For our forage blends, seeding rates can be adjusted for areas and specific needs. For dryland areas, we would recommend 120 Ibs/acre and for irrigation we would recommend 150 Ibs/acre. Below are all varieties we can blend:

The Cereal Continuator BlendMulti season growth & Smooth Awn / Awnless Blend
This Continuator blend is all awnless or smooth awn cereals and gives you maximum tonnage potential for forage with the ability to graze it in the fall and spring with awnless fall triticale blended in for two season of use. This also gives you the ability to spray for broadleaf weeds. Awnless triticale can be substituted for a fall rye if you are looking to get a earlier forage option the following year. Oats tend to dominate blends so we reduced the percent. Barley 2 row smooth awn 27.5% Spring Triticale Awnless 27.5% Forage Oat 17.5% Fall triticale Awnless. 27.5%
